WE HAVE NO REASON TO BE OVER THERE. THEY TOLD US WE WERE F*CKING GOING TO FIND ALL THESE NUCLEAR WEAPONS.. THEY MADE US WEAR ALL THIS CHEMICAL SUIT SH*T FOR 3 MONTHS IN 110 DEGREE TEMPERATURE. GUYS WERE DROPPING OVER LIKE FLIES. THEN THEY MADE ME PATROL SOME SH*TTY LITTLE TOWN IN THE MIDDLE OF NOWWHERE TO 'LIBERATE' THEM. ALL THEY DID WAS PRETEND TO LIKE US, KIDS WOULD WAVE TO US, AND AS WE PASSED THEY'D MAKE OBSCENE GESTURES AND TRY TO FIGURE OUT WAYS TO KILL US. 2 OF THE GUYS IN MY UNIT GOT PICKED OFF FOR ABSOLUTELY NOTHING. YOU KNOW WHERE MOST OF OUR UNITS WERE DEPLOYED?!!! OIL FIELDS. THEY FILLED OUR HEADS WITH WMD SH*T, AND THEN HALF OUR TROOPS ARE GUARDING F'ING OIL PIPELINES AND DRILLING RIGS. IM LUCKY TO GET OUT OF THAT H*LLHOLE. THEY HATE OUR GUTS FOR PUTTING SADDAM IN POWER OVER THERE IN THE FIRST PLACE! WHAT A F*CKED UP MESS!!! THEN TO TOP IT OFF SOME DORK OFFERED US $10,000 TO SIGN BACK UP FOR ANOTHER TERM. WE ROLLED OVER LAUGHING. WE DON'T NEED TO BE THERE. BUSH IS NUTS!

This is the wisest decision you have taken to yourself, your family and your future. Being in Iraq for so-called search for weapons of mass destruction is nothing other than terrorising the lives of other people who belong to a country, religion, culture etc different to yours. It does not make any complete sense to continue this war.

Reply:That letter could have been written by any soldier in any war dating back to the stone age. Soldiers moan when they are away from home, and then when they get home they want another mission...thats life.





You would be surprised at the amount of soldiers who are currently leaving the British army after a tour in Iraq, not as you would suspect because they have been crushed by the experience, but because they are signing up for private military companies to go back over there, take the insurgents on on level terms (ie without political correctness) and whilst being paid $1000 per day.





The reason they are guarding oil wells by the way is because the insurgents are trying to blow them up, and that would screw up the only thing in the Iraqi economy which is producing any revenue to buy food and medicine.
