Why can other people see this??

They always want a life of luxury and want to be lucky, nut they don't see how other people suffer just to eat 3 times a day, while they still think they are unfortunate???

it just frustrates me........

Why can other people see this??
Could be that you can only recognize what you have experienced yourself. If you never had to struggle for three meals a day, you are likely to say that it is the fault of the people and thus not your problem, or worth thinking about. And of course your own problems are much more important.

I felt the same way too : I have had for many years problems to get through life and felt so bad about myself. But i was still living in a nice comfortable flat, having electricity. And blaming all those people living on the streets, that they just did not really try and are living there because they are lazy.

After being in danger of loosing my flat myself, i realized that there are certain circumstances in each and every society where this could happen to nearly everyone no matter how hard you try to avoid it. One mistake can be enough to ruin your life for many years in our world the way it is now.

so now i am going around and try to notice these things, and it really makes me sad that so few people see it the same way i do... and apparently like you do.

What we need is a stronger society that cares for all people, not just for people with a certain living-standard.
Reply:To be human is to want, there is never enough no matter how much there is. I believe it's because we live in such an abundant Universe, it's not wrong to want more and it's up to each Person no matter where they are to want and seek out as much as they can get, to their own satisfaction. The word "fair" describes the weather or an Irish girls completion, perhaps even a place where You can ride a merry go round. The idea that it means the condition of exchange or a level playing field is ridiculous. I was once homeless and freezing in the barren wastelands of Canada, now I live like a Prince in the richest State in America, You have to grab what You want in life, no one gives it to You; that's a lesson well learned from the time I spent in the harsh realm. Take care and cheer up, everyone finds their way down the path.
Reply:because its human nature to be selfish and look after yourself and your own. Harsh but nature.
Reply:So personally do something about it besides being frustrated.
Reply:I see what your saying but why is it such a problem for you to see that there is no problem with being rich and sucessful either?
Reply:People tend to compare themselves with what's closest - so in affluent societies they compare themselves with their affluent peers. It takes a great effort of will - and charity - to see beyond that, unfortunately.
