unknown. emember rick pitino was a top collegiate coach and was coaxed into the NBA were he sucked so much donkey nuts he became a laughing stock. then he tried going back to collegiate level and he was not as respected anymore cuz he sucked so much nuts in the nba. dude was like lucky to win 20 games in a season, thats how much he sucked

That guy scared no if and or buts about it. Say what you want bout college coaches and their fame. The real test is in the NBA where the best players in the world play. I'm tiered of people saying coaches in the NBA have it easier than college because their surrounded by a bunch of millionaire babies who want take direction. If colleges coaches were so great than why can't the majority of them pass the test of the NBA schedule. Whats easier coaching 27 games or 82. Thats a no brainer. This guy needs to stay at Florida cuz in the NBA it aint gonna work
Reply:yes. he was afraid of failure and was afraid he would be remembered as another college coach who failed in the nba rather than the guy who won back to back championships. he didnt want to become another mike montgomery, rick pitino, tim floyd etc... the losers. at florida he would be treated like a god, like coach K is at duke.
